Shooting the Colorama Limited Edition
Exciting times! You’ve probably noticed that the new Colorama Limited Edition is out since Monday and we are as happy about it as you are. Our blog is a great opportunity to tell you more about the shoot and the backstage so let’s do it.
We worked with some extremely talented people again and there were quite a few chances to shoot this collection. And because we love all the pictures, let’s talk about each of the photoshoots.
The first one was when we worked with the Decadance studio in the Czech Republic and we were shooting both in the studio and inside the premises of Brno Exhibition Centre (you could already see what the exhibition centre looks like in our previous post about shooting the Prismatic Limited Edition, if you haven’t read it, check it out).
These pictures were taken by Arina, who is not only a talented photographer but also a pole dancer and we simply love her work.
Our model for the Colorama edition was the lovely Anna Skrickova. She has been doing pole dance for a year and a half now and she’s already finished 6th at the Czech pole sports championship 2015, which we think is an amazing achievement! It was also the first time she was a part of a photoshoot like that and she says: “For the first time I’ve had a professional make-up on and I was quite nervous in front of the camera. But it was a really good experience for me and I am really glad, that I had this opportunity.”
The second shoot took place in Russia in St. Petersburg and this time, Arina decided to shoot in the cool interiors of Studio 212. The models were Veronika Mikhailova (winner of the Pole Theatre UK 2014) and Mila – Anastasia Fateeva (exotic pole dancer and choreographer), both from Trash Pole Dance Studio.
And as if two photoshoots were not enough, we decided to make it more interesting for you and created some pictures in the United Kingdom as well. These were taken by David J Harrison, sports, fitness and performance photographer from Derby.
David worked with Charlotte Holstead (Charlotte Robertson, just married, congratulations! ), who is the UKPPC Elite Winner 2015, in her Girls Love Fit studio, and Jess Leanne Norris, who is the UK Pole Champion 2011 & 2015. We were really impressed with their skills!
David’s and Arina’s pictures are quite different and that’s what we like. That way you can see the clothes in different lighting and setup, worn by gorgeous models and pole dancers who know different pole dance tricks and make the clothes look amazing on them every time.
Which photoshoot do you like the most? And what do you think about the new Colorama Limited Edition?
By the way, you can follow the girls on Instagram as well, they all have amazing feeds so go and give them some love! Here are the links: Anna, Veronika, Mila, Charlotte, and Jess Leanne.
