Shooting the Pole Twins Video (backstage)
Since you seemed to quite like seeing the backstage of our Prismatic Limited Edition shoot, we thought we might tell you something more about shooting the video Pole Twins.
Let’s start with our pole twins. These beautiful and talented ladies are Veronika Rehorova and Ruzenka Kunstyrova, who are Doubles WINNERS of the World Pole Sports Championships 2015. This is an amazing achievement, considering that over 2500 pole athletes competed in 26 competitions around the world to qualify and only 10 qualified from the prelims to the finals. If you want to watch their fantastic choreography, here’s the video!
But let’s get back to our video. We were shooting inside the premises of Nova Pragovka, which was originally the Prague’s first automobile factory opened in 1907. Nowadays it’s a multicultural centre and a place popular amongst filmmakers, who like to shoot action movies in here.
We were shooting in August which means it was quite hot and it took us almost the whole day to shoot this pole dance video (when shooting the Prismatic Limited Edition we had quite the opposite problem, it seems the weather is never quite right, haha. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read more about the shoot here). Luckily the girls and everybody on the shoot was very professional and did an amazing job!
We were so amazed by the way Veronika and Ruzenka work together, they are so synchronized and elegant, we could watch them all day long. And they even did their own makeup, I mean, how great is that?
The poles you can see in the video were supplied by GymPole, which is a company we really like, owned by Veronika Rehorova and her boyfriend. The video was shot by Ondrej Pekarek and we also didn’t miss the chance to take some photographs, therefore, our photographer Martin Chrt was there too. If you like what the girls are wearing, don’t worry, you’ll have a chance to wear the same clothes to your pole dancing class. It’s the new Diamond Line that we are working on. So stay tuned!
We really enjoyed working on this pole dancing video and it was a great day spent
with talented people who did their best to capture the beauty of pole dance. And to make the day even better, Ruzenka found a dried dragonfly. If that’s not a lucky sign, then what is :).
